1st Place Overall: 8, 30-minute personal training sessions and 5, 30-minute dietitian consultations

2nd Place Overall: 5, 30-minute personal training sessions and 4, 30-minute dietitian consultations

3rd Place Overall: 3, 30-minute personal training sessions and 3, 30-minute dietitian consultations

Indoor Sprint Triathlon

The Sage YMCA is excited to host its second annual Indoor Triathlon on Sunday,February 10, 2019!  This event is great for those who are new to triathlons and those who want to get a jump on their training season.  Distances will be recorded for each leg of the triathlon.  

The Indoor Triathlon includes:

  * 15 Minute Swim

  * 30 Minute Bike

  * 15 Minute Run

Registration includes entry into the February 10th Indoor Triathlon, a participant t-shirt and medals for all finishers.

Register early and save!  Registration ends February 1, 2019.  A minimum of 16 participants is required to run the event.  The 2019 Sage YMCA Triathlon Training Program is presented in partnership with Smith Physical Therapy and Running Academy and Jennifer Harrison Triathlon Coaching.

Ready.  Set.  Super Bowl!

Join us Sunday, February 3 for some Pregame Training and Conditioning!

The Super Bowl is synonymous with friendly get-togethers and party food.  Too bad it usually leaves us feeling weighed down by the time the night is over.  This year, let's change that!  Join Sage YMCA Fitness Instructors for a 90-minute pregame circuit workout packed with cardio and strength exercises all to the beat of great music.  Bring a friend to get your pregame workout on!  Modifications and progressions will be made to accomodate and challenge most fitness levels.  Space is limited to 75 participants.

Youth and Teen Policies

The following guidlines are in place to encourage the safety of youth and teens as they enjoy the benefits of the YMCA.  These policies apply to all members.  Non-members under 16 years old may not use the Fitness Center or Weight Room.

Ages 8 - 12

Youth ages 8 - 12 may use the Fitness Center under the direct supervision of a Sage YMCA Personal Trainer ONLY.  Any other use of the Fitness Center by youth 12 years and under is prohibited.

Ages 13 - 15

Upon completion of a Teen Machine Orientation with a Sage YMCA Fitness Staff member, youth ages 13 - 15 may use the cardiovascular equipment (bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, rowers, etc…), strength machines and equipment in the stretching and mat-work area (hand weights, medicine balls, foam rollers, etc…).  Youth ages 13 - 15 may NOT use any free weights, plate loaded equipment or barbells.  Youth MUST wear their blue YMCA wrist bands at all times when using the Fitness Center.

Ages 16+

Youth ages 16+ are encouraged to complete a Machine Orientation with a Sage YMCA Fitness Staff member.  Youth ages 16+ may use all cardiovascular equipment, weight machines and free weights unless otherwise noted.
