    Humboldt Park Community Assessment

    The YMCA of Metro Chicago, in collaboration with a dedicated community assessment stakeholder group and leaders at the Kelly Hall YMCA, released a comprehensive community assessment of Humboldt Park in 2023. The project aimed to understand the needs, desires, and strengths of the residents and workers in the area to better connect them with essential resources.

    South Side Community Assessment

    In 2024, in partnership with the South Side Community Assessment Stakeholder Group, the YMCA of Metro Chicago released a comprehensive community assessment of the Chicago South Side. The Y aimed to connect with our communities, building an understanding of their experiences, and naming actions we can take in collaboration with our partners to better connect people with their purpose, potential, and each other.
