YMCA of Metro Chicago Brings High Energy to 2025 Back to School Events!
It’s officially back-to-school season in Chicagoland. And hundreds of kids and families came out to YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago Back to School events to welcome the new school year with enthusiasm!
Earlier this month, Community Hubs across our association hosted special celebrations to mark a successful summer and help prepare our community members for the 2025-26 school year. Kids and families across Chicagoland stopped by their local Y or one of our partner events.
We offered a variety of fun activities at our hubs and partner events, including bounce houses, vendors from local businesses and organizations, yard games, Touch-a-Truck, swimming, movies, delicious food, and more. And, thanks to the contributions of our partners, we were able to distribute free backpacks, folders, notebooks, pencils, and other essential school supplies to families in our communities.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and get kids into the mood for school.
