Young Men Thriving

Young Men Thriving is a nationwide YMCA strategy that provides safe spaces for young leaders ages 11 to 17 to express themselves and nurture their unique identities. Youth take part in new experiences such as college and career panels, tours of companies, overnight camp retreats, and more!

Exploring the Outdoors at YMCA Camp MacLean

For several years, Young Men Thriving participants have ventured to Burlington, Wisconsin in partnership with YMCA Camp MacLean to spend the weekend in the beautiful outdoors and connect with peers who share similar life experiences. The Y fosters camaraderie as participants tackle new and exciting activities including archery, canoeing, a high ropes course, fishing, and more!

Old Spice Partnership

Young Men Thriving collaborates with Old Spice’s School of Swagger to increase high school graduation among boys and young men of color through the Gradify program, which equips students with tools to build actionable college and career plans as well as mentor connections. We are proud to provide students with hands-on support and resources, empowering them to achieve their goals!
