Rauner Family YMCA Basketball Player Takes the Court at the United Center
The Rauner Family YMCA was thrilled to have the opportunity for one of our basketball players to represent our community on a major stage!
In partnership with The Alliance 98, Alexander Catalan, an 8th grade basketball player in our program, was selected to represent the Rauner Family Y on the United Center court for a scrimmage during halftime of a recent Chicago Bulls game.
In total, twelve Little Village youth were invited to play a halftime scrimmage during a Chicago Bulls home game against the Houston Rockets last week. This opportunity reflects the power of partnerships like The Alliance 98 and the impact they can have in opening doors for our youth. We are incredibly proud of Alexander and grateful for the chance to see one of our own represent the community with confidence and sportsmanship.
Moments like these continue to inspire our players to dream big, work hard, and believe in what’s possible.
