The South Side YMCA is located at 6330 S. Stony Island, Chicago, IL 60637 

The South Side Y is open: 

  • Monday - Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday - Sunday: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The South Side Y KidZone hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Monday - Friday: 4 p.m.  - 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Whether for a birthday party, a group outing or meeting, or any reason to celebrate — we’ll help you host a fun-filled, memorable event. We offer a variety of party packages, including pool, dodgeball and basketball parties.

Splish and splash into our family pool for your next birthday celebration! Enjoy free swim and play in our pools with all your friends, and be reassured your party goers are safe because a private pool rental includes South Side YMCA lifeguards. Make your reservation by calling us at 773-947-0700.

Bring Your A-Game to a Sports Party!

Race on over to our open gym for an exhilarating sports party! Simply select the sport of your choice. Our staff will make sure an energized game of the chosen sport will be played, adjusting to meet all abilities to ensure fun for everyone. Available sports are basketball, soccer, archery, floor hockey, and dodgeball. Make your reservation by calling us at 773-947-0700.
