Fit Fore Golf

Take your fitness and golf game to the next level!

Join Head Golf Professional, Rob, and a YMCA Personal Trainer at Boone Creek Golf Course for a two hour workshop to help you improve your golf game as well as get fitter this golf season.  At this workshop, you will discover the golf pro's secrets for a longer, straighter drive, surer putts, and less aches and pains.  From a trainer's perspective, you will learn about how to build strength and improve flexibility and range of motion that will help your golf game.  This workshop is open to the golf novice and seasoned player.

Extreme Circuit Outdoors

Burn Calories, Get Strong and Never Get Bored!

This is not your average circuit class!  Our motivating personal trainers will lead you through a variety of timed stations including heavy ropes, cardio drills and strength exercises to keep you moving at your maximum effort.  This class will be held outdoors, weather permitting.

Summer 1 (5 Weeks) 6/11 - 7/15

Summer 2 (5 Weeks) 7/16 - 8/19

Saturdays at 9:00 - 10:00am with Tony

Class size is limited to 12 participants

Deep Water Cadence Running

Deep Water Cadence is a deep water running class that uses evidence-based, cadence-specific workouts to achieve peak athletic performance.  Whether you're training for a run, recovering from an injury or prone to injuries, deep water running is an impact free way to engage your entire body while building up your endurance and cardiovascular conditioning.

Created by three-time Olympic qualifier Teresa Triche, Deep Water Cadence has helped NBA players, Navy officers and Wounded Warriors Veterans recover from injuries and get in the best shape of their lives.  There are no pre-qualifications to participate (other than being comfortable in deep water) and floatation belts are provided by the Y.

Summer Session (10 Weeks): June 11 - August 20

No classes on July 4 and between July 27 - August 5

Class Schedule:

  * Wednesdays: 8:45 - 9:30am and 7:00 - 7:45pm

  * Fridays: 8:45 - 9:30am

  * Sundays: 9:00 - 9:45am

One and two day per week class options are available.

Class Pass

Do you have a favorite bundled fitness class you love coming to every week?  Is your schedule tight on time?  Purchase a Class Pass to ensure your spot in your favorite class every week.  No waiting, no lines, just fitness.

What is a Class Pass?

It's an opportunity to have a guaranteed spot in your favorite bundled fitness class every week for an entire session.

How can I get a Class Pass?

Class Passes will be available by request only - contact Emily Fischer at [email protected] or call 815.526.1676 - for all bundled land group fitness classes.  Sales for Summer 1 classes begin on Sunday, June 3 and end on Saturday, June 9.  A maximum of five Class Passes per class will be sold.

How does it work?

Simple.  Once you purchase your Class Pass, stop by the Membership Desk the first week of the class session (June 11).  The membership staff will give you your personalized Class Pass.  Simply show this card to the class instructor at the beginning of the class.  You don't need to get here early, wait in line or get a class number ticket from the Membership Desk.  Instructors will have a list of Class Pass holders for each individual class.

Class Passes are for the specific class session, day and time listed.  It cannot be used by anyone other than the purchaser.  If your Class Pass is lost, you may present a photo ID in its place.  There are no refunds for missed classes or substitutes for any Class Passes.  If a class is cancelled by the YMCA, you will receive a voucher on your YMCA account for the cost of the cancelled class.  Only 5 passes per class per session will be sold.
