Chair Yoga at the Greater LaGrange Y
Chair Yoga is a gentle form of Yoga that is practiced on a chair or using the chair as support for standing poses. It is especially suitable for active older adults, people with balance or coordiation issues, and those with disabilities. Chair Yoga helps increase flexibility, lung capacity, circulation and strength, improves balance and relieves stress. This class incorporates breathing exercizes, stretching, yoga postures, and relaxation.
