Upcoming pool closures for routine maintenance

Whether it’s a toddler making their first splashes in the water or a lifeguard in training, the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago’s Aquatics offerings prioritize water safety first and foremost.

In keeping with our commitment to provide high-quality facilities for community members to enjoy pool time year-round, we conduct annual facilities inspections and deep cleanings at all of our Association’s pools. As such, please note the temporary pool closure dates below, listed by location:

• Indian Boundary YMCA - lap pool reopens 9/4
• Foglia YMCA - lap pool and family pool reopen 9/13
• Fry Family YMCA - lap pool reopens 9/7
• South Side YMCA - lap pool and family pool reopen 9/10
• McCormick YMCA - lap pool and family pool reopen 9/10
• Hastings Lake YMCA - lap pool reopens 9/13
• Buehler YMCA - lap pool closes 9/7, will reopen 9/17
• Lake View YMCA - lap pool reopens 9/20
