May is Water Safety Month, and at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, we know the importance of keeping people safe in and around the water, especially as the summer months pick up.
We’re dedicated to creating a safer environment for everyone. That’s why our aquatics programs promote water safety awareness and education.
Splash Into Water Safety
Swimming lessons at the Y not only build character and increase self-confidence; they also teach students to swim confidently and safely at their own pace. The YMCA of Metro Chicago offers swimming lessons for all ages, integrating water safety and swimming skills. From young children to senior adults, we give everyone a sense of belonging and confidence by celebrating their achievements.
