Police Officers Play Volleyball With Teens at Humboldt Park

11th district Chicago police officers were invited to play volleyball with teen girls in Humboldt Park at the Kelly Hall YMCA, in partnership with Elijah’s House, a non-profit organization in Chicago. The program, Bringing Back Community's goal was to bring together the community and police force, humanizing officers and improving the relationship between the police and young people.

One police officer said, "we have to show that the police are a part of the community, and we're all working together to reduce violence out here, we're all after the same goal."
