Hamilton Elementary Pre-K & Kindergarten After-school Enrichment at the Lake View YMCA
Calling all Hamilton Elementary Pre-K and Kindergarten families!
The Lake View YMCA is excited to share registration is open for our after-school enrichment program, exclusively available to Hamilton Elementary students.
Our enrichment programs help your child unlock new passions and talents! Through a blend of play-based learning and hands-on activities, our programs ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and build essential social skills.
Program Details
- Dates: Sep. 1, 2025 – Jun. 4, 2026
- Hours: 2:45 – 6 p.m.
- Ages: 3 to 6 years
- Location: Lake View YMCA, 3333 N. Marshfield Ave., Chicago, IL 60657
- Y staff will pick up students from Hamilton Elementary and walk them to the Lake View YMCA.
- If students attend other Lake View Y programs after school (e.g., swim lessons, sports practices, etc.), our staff will walk them to their next activity.
- Snack provided by the Lake View Y.
Program Options
- 5-Day Program: $320/month per child
- 3-Day Program: $220/month per child
- 1-Day Program: $85/month per child
- 1-Day Drop-In: $30/day per child
- Students must be previously enrolled in a 3-Day or 1-Day Program.
The Hamilton Elementary after-school enrichment program is hosted in a fully equipped preschool classroom, giving children access to a wide variety of toys, learning materials, and supplies. Plus, this is a screen-free zone!
Each day, students will experience a variety of activities, including a balanced rotation of Center Choices and Free Play, long-term project-based learning, large group activities, and 60 minutes of gross motor movement or physical activity. Check out our weekly schedule of group activities.
Weekly Themes
- Monday: Sports of All Sports (sport fundamentals)
- Tuesday: Swim Lessons
- Wednesday: Messy Masterpieces (art exploration)
- Thursday: Silly Scientists (STEM)
- Friday: Free Swim
