Since the 1930s, YMCA Family Camp Nawakwa has served as a home-away-from-home for families across the U.S. For nearly a century, Family Camp Nawakwa has fostered a safe and friendly environment for the whole family to explore nature, find new talents, gain an outdoor awareness, and make lifelong memories with loved ones.
Today, we provide a year-round community for our campers, offering Family Camp throughout all four seasons. With few remaining places like Family Camp Nawakwa — where the environment is serene, the wildlife is beautiful and majestic, and everyone truly appreciates their neighbors — it’s no wonder that families come back year after year, generation after generation.
