Before and After School Care and Kinder Care with Greater La Grange Y
Children participate in a balanced program of open play and structured activities while being supervised by well-trained and caring staff.
Children get involved in a variety of learning activities in addition to program components such as, recreation, health enhancement, arts and humanities programs, nutritional snacks, service learning, character development and homework assistance. YMCA School Age programs ensure that children are given a unique mix of activities that focus on developmental assets, the building blocks that teach children how to make positive and intelligent decisions throughout life.
Care is provided at our offsite location Zion Lutheran Church 7930 Ogden Ave. and at Willow Spring School
We provide care to the following schools (ages 5-12 years / grades K-6th):

- Brook Park Elementary – Brookfield/ La Grange Park*
- Hollywood Elementary – Brookfield/ Riverside*
- Blythe Elementary – Riverside*
- Central Elementary – Riverside*
- Willow Springs School – Willow Springs
Kindergarten Care for both morning and afternoon classes is offered. One swim lesson or sports Practice per week included. Program includes curriculum that coordinated with what is taught in school as well as free time to explore social development. Lunch is provided as well as bus services.
Registration:
Complete the registration form on or before August 1 (one per child) and attach a $50 non-refundable registration fee. Credit Cards, Checks or money orders only made out to the Greater La Grange YMCA, no cash please! Upon registration you will receive a folder with important forms and parent/student handbook.
