This 60-Year-Old Veteran Just Set Two Planking World Records

Indian Boundary YMCA’s Fitness Director, George Hood, planked for 10 hours, 10 minutes and 10 seconds straight to break the world record and fundraise for the YMCA of Metro Chicago’s Urban Warriors.

He began planking on June 27 at approximately 9:30 a.m. and held the plank for over 10 hours. After breaking the longest plank record, he continued to plank, and in  13 plank sets with an average break time of  18-25 minutes, broke the “most plank time accumulated in 24 hours” world record with a time of 18:10:10.
