There’s More Than One Way To Celebrate Welcoming Week 2022 With The Y!
Welcoming Week 2022 is here — and we’re inviting you to get all the details about how your local YMCA of Metro Chicago location will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of this community-building initiative.
From September 9-18, our Y Centers are hosting events and activities focusing on cross-cultural dialogue, resource sharing, advocacy, public health, economic development, and workplace inclusion — and all of them are free and open to the public! Activities vary by location, so be sure to check out your local Y's social media pages, stop by the front desk or sign up for our weekly newsletter!
Welcoming Week is a time for all, including immigrants, refugees, and U.S.-born residents, to build connections and celebrate diversity. We hope you can join us for activities and events that will foster belonging and inclusivity in our communities!
