Back 2 School Illinois Holds School Supplies Giveaway

With a mission to ensure that students in need are prepared with the proper tools to start the school year, Back 2 School Illinois distributed thousands of supply kits to Chicagoland students. Yesterday, the YMCA of Metro Chicago, along with other organizations, brought students to Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood for them to receive these supply kits.

Linda Dean, Director of Volunteerism at the YMCA of Metro Chicago, shared how much Back 2 School Illinois has developed and grown over the past decade.
