Exciting Renovations at Foglia YMCA: Enhancing Your Experience

At the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, we are dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a series of exciting renovations to the Foglia YMCA that will transform the facility and enhance your time with us.  

Lobby Renovations: Our lobby is getting overhauled! This means a fresh, modern look with improved accessibility and functionality. The new design will create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests and members, making your arrival at the Foglia YMCA even more enjoyable.  

During this time, the main entrance of the Foglia Y will be closed for use. All members and visitors must use our South entrance to enter and exit the building. Please park at the back of our building for easy access. 

This lobby renovation will also impact elevator availability. For the duration of renovations, elevators will be unavailable for use except in emergencies. This will affect access to the fitness floor; some fitness classes and personal training may be relocated or cancelled. Please call us at 847-438-5300 for more information! 

Lower-Level Renovation: The lower level is also undergoing significant improvements, including brand-new flooring.  

In addition to the lobby and lower-level renovations, we’ve already made several enhancements to our facilities: 

• Exterior Finishing: Our building’s exterior has been updated with a fresh, new look that reflects the vibrant spirit of our community.  
• New Playground: We’ve installed a state-of-the-art playground, offering a fun and safe space for children to play and explore.  

Future Enhancements: We're not stopping there! Over the next several months, you can look forward to new equipment arriving at Foglia YMCA. These additions will further improve your experience and provide you with the latest tools to achieve your fitness goals.
