Basketball Skills ( 2 clases )

Did you know that the YMCA invented basketball? We continue to be committed to teaching children the fundamentals of basketball, while competing in a fun and friendly environment! Players will focus on improving dribbling, passing, and shooting skills. Classes focus on teaching the players new offensive moves by developing the footwork and ball skills necessary to be successful. Skill sessions are great for players in any of our leagues, or for any player who wants to improve his/her basketball skills.

Preschool Sports Skills ( 1 clases )

This preschool sports class is designed for ages 3-5 to be noncompetitive with an emphasis on developing general sports skills, good sportsmanship and self confidence. Our instructors help build strong minds, bodies and friendships while intruducing and building skills within a new sport every week. Your child will be introduced to basketball, soccer, t-ball, kickball, flag football and floor hockey. Our preschool curriculum allows our instructors to provide high quality, structured instruction that caters to short attention spans and high energy. This is a great class to explore sports interests, develop motor skills, improve hand eye coordination, and have fun!
