Payment and Financial Aid Information

All camps require a $25 deposit. All fees are due by the Wednesday prior to camp. For all camps, this deposit is credited toward your total camp fee(s). Your child will not be admitted into camp if fees are not paid in full. By June 3, 2013, you may cancel the session or week(s) and receive a refund of the total paid amount for that session or week(s), minus the non-refundable, non- transferable deposit. In addition, if your child is hospitalized or ill for an entire camp week, you may receive a refund for days missed, minus the nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit, with a doctor's note.

If you fail to meet the cancellation deadline, you will be responsible for payment in full, regardless of attendance.

Financial Assistance

Due to our limited YMCA scholarship money, we require all families in need of financial assistance to first request assistance from Action for Children (previously known as Day Care Action Council) at 312.823.1100. You can pick up a financial aid folder with all financial aid information, including a signed Action for children applications at the Irving Park Member Service Desk beginning April 15th.

All certificates of approval must be submitted by May 1 to ensure that you will be eligible prior to the beginning of camp.

*Please note: Action for Children does not cover all fees due. You will be responsible for all fees not covered by Action for Children. If you are denied assistance from Action for Children, you are welcome to pick up the YMCA Scholarship Packet from the Member Service Desk. Financial assistance from the YMCA is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Upon filling out the YMCA packet, you need to return the completed forms to the Irving Park YMCA.
