Share your Adventure Guides Story

We are looking for current and former members of the Three Owls Federation who would be willing to share their stories about the program. "

We are looking for current and former members of the Three Owls Federation (formerly Big Teepee Federation) who would be willing to share their stories about the program. We would need just a few minutes of your time to collect your story from you.

What sort of story do we want?
- What do you love about the program now
- Fond memories of the program or new experiences gained in the program
- How the program has helped build your relationship with your family or local friends
- Anything else you can think of!

Sample story from Polly Rhodes, Adventure Guides program director and Adventure guides alumni mom:
My kids are now 14 and 16. They first joined the Big Teepee Federation about 10 years ago. They loved all of the campouts and the special time with their dad. In fact, there is a video on the website that my son made for a school project about the winter campout at Camp Tecumseh. This video was 2 years after he had been to the campout. It really stuck with him! Check it out here  Additionally, my kids were in a tribe (now circle) with kids from another elementary school. They ended up finding each other again in middle school and are still close friends in high school. Without this program, they would not have connected!

I hope my examples might stir some memories of your own and you will consider sharing your story with us. If you are willing to help, please let me know by the end of October.
