The winter soltice has come and gone and the days are starting to get longer. Just because it’s cool outside it doesn’t meet it’s HOT in our Y. Don’t forget to stop in and check out some of great programs this winter.

We’ve bought soccer indoors while the weather is chilly, but that doesn’t mean we’ve taken out any of the fun. Join or trained soccer coach, Joseph Smith as he trains the youth through drills, skills and scrimages. Your children will learn new skills and develop exsisting knowledge.
Swim lessons aren’t new to the South Side Y, but having the option of seven days a week is! With convenient times starting at 4:30PM during the week and weekend times between 8AM and 1PM, we know that we can find a class for you! Lessons are offered for youth as young at 6 months old to adult. Classes range from beginner to advanced.

Just like adults, kids need cardio too. While it’s cold out, our youth cycle class is the perfect way to keep you kids active and healthy. Youth will learn the proper cycling techniques in a fun and challenging atmosphere.
TRX Rip Trainer Class

TRX Rip Trainer is a total body workout that builds core strength with rotational movements that mirror the way you move in sport and in life. The Rip Trainer allows the users to engage in unlimted movements which, when performed properly, enhance fluidity and range of motion while decreasing the risk of injury. The Rip Trainer is the perfect toll for elite level athletes, fitness enthusiasts and even people wanting to exercise for the first time.
