Join us for Camp Play Day and other May events"

There are several reasons to celebrate in May, so let’s spread the word.  Celebrations give you reasons to get together with friends and family, and to treat yourself or someone else to something special.

  1. May 1, 2016 is May Day
  2. May 3, 2016 is National Teacher’s Day
  3. May 5, 2016 is Cinco de Mayo Day
  4. May 7, 2016 is South Side YMCA Camp Play Day 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  The Y Camp Play Day is a day of free fun activities for children.  This event will highlight some of the fun and activities that children will be engaged in during our summer camp.  We look forward to celebrating this day with your family.
  5. May 8, 2016 is Mother’s Day.  On this day we honor the women who raised us and women who have sacrificed for others through all walks of life.
  6. May 30, 2016 is Memorial Day.  This day is dedicated to those men and women who died while serving in the military along with remembering families and friends who have died.  It is also the start of the summer vacation season.

Want to continue celebrating with us all summer long? Join in the fun at the South Side YMCA Summer Day Camp. We create an exciting, safe environment for children to have an unforgettable summer of fun.
