Registration Dates & Policies
Registration opens February 1, 2019
All campers must hold a valid youth or family YMCA membership at registration to receive the member rate, and it must remain valid through September 1, 2019.
The final day to register for a particular week is the Wednesday before attending camp. All payments are due by this date.
All paperwork is due the Wednesday before your child attends. Your child will not be permitted into camp without receipt of these documents. These documents will be provided to you when you register your child(ren). If you register online, the forms will be emailed to you.

Travel Specialty Camps are for children entering grades 5-8. This camp runs 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily unless otherwise noted. FREE Extended Care available M-F 6:30-8 a.m. and 5-6 p.m.

All campers must be registered and paid in full by the Wednesday prior to attending their week of camp. A $30 non-refundable deposit is required for each week of camp.
Cancellation requests must be put in writing to the program director. Any and all refunds for cancellations will be given at the discretion of the program director, however the deposit of $30 per week is non-refundable. End of the Day Enrichment Camps must be paid in full upon registration.
With the YMCA, everyone can afford to keep their kids healthy and safe this summer!
Financial assistance is available for those needing help to pay for camp through Department of Human Services. If you qualify DHS assistance can be applied for all weeks of summer camp. Applications for assistance is through Community Coordinated Child Care (4C's) at 815.758.8149 or 800.848.8727, dhs.state.il.us or picked up at Member Service Desk. You do not have to be a YMCA member to qualify.
If you do not qualify for DHS, you may apply for funds through the Sage YMCA. Financial assistance is made available on limited basis for families and based on annual income, family size and supported documentation. Confidential applications are available at the Member Service Desk during regular business hours. They may also be downloaded from the FORMS page of our website.
If you qualify for financial assistance through DHS you can not apply for additional financial assistance through the YMCA. You can apply for membership finanical assistance only.
A non-refundable deposit per week is required to hold your child's spot in camp, even if you have applied for DHS or YMCA financial assistance. This deposit may be applied to your DHS co-pay.
When DHS or YMCA financial assistance are utilized for third party payment by camp families, approval must be recieved PRIOR to a camper starting the program or the family will have to pay the camp fee in full. Don't wait — apply now!
