Des Plaines, IL – Roto Subaru has donated $6,500 to the Lattof YMCA’s Annual Campaign, as part of Subaru of America’s 7th annual “Share the Love” nationwide event. Over the course of the six-year program, Subaru has donated more than $50 million to select charities.
“We are so grateful to Roto Subaru for supporting the Lattoff Y. As a nonprofit, this donation helps the Y continue our commitment to strengthening the community,” said Katy Landaverde, Health and Wellness Director, Lattof YMCA.
Last year, Lattof Y served 10,000 people in the community and provided over $100,000 in financial assistance so that children and adults could participate in programs and memberships that they otherwise could not afford.
From November 20, 2014 to January 2, 2015, Subaru dealerships across the U.S. donated $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to the customer’s choice of select national and local charities. The Lattof YMCA was among 608 hometown charities selected by Subaru retailers.
