The YMCA of Metro Chicago's 5th annual The Y. So Much More Recognition Dinner raises awareness and funds for the Y's life-changing youth and family development programs. The evening showcases the Y's determination to ensure each and every member of our community has the opportunity to find success.
Throughout his four-decade tenure at Northern Trust, including his service as Chairman and CEO for the past 10 years, Rick Waddell has remained steadfast in his commitment to Chicago. As his illustrious professional career comes to a close, it is the Y's great honor to present Rick with this prestigious award.
Founded by brothers Chris and Jude Reyes in 1976, Reyes Holdings is dedicated to making Chicago a better place. Accepting the award on behalf of the company are Stephen and Andrew Reyes, the next generation of leaders and philanthropists for Reyes Holdings. The YMCA and the families we serve are grateful to be benefactors of the company's generosity.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois
Over the past decade, the company's employees have graciously volunteered nearly 5,000 hours to the Y, and have been valuable philanthropic partners, supporting a variety of programs within our organization. Accepting the award on behalf of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois is their President, Maurice Smith.
The Y. So Much More Recognition Dinner is proudly chaired by A. Steven Crown and Peter B. McNitt.
