Wednesday, May 16, 2018, 6-7:30 p.m.

A Parent Orientation will be offered to all campers and their families who are participating in Day Camp.

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that parents attend one of these meetings, as the Program Director and Camp Site Coordinator will be going over the schedule, field trips, rules, parent handbook, and everything else you need to know before camp begins. This is also be a great time to pick up your camp T-shirt(s) and have your child meet their counselors who will be leading activities in the gym.

Feel free to contact Youth and Family Director Brittany Dunk with any questions.

Payment and Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance

The Oswego YMCA does our best to keep summer camp costs reasonable, and is proud of its heritage and commitment to make its character-building, family-enriching programs available to everyone in our community. Fees are based on the cost of providing a safe and fun summer day camp experience. Due to the limited scholarship resources available, we first refer interested families to the Dept. of Human Services to apply for funding. We must have approval letter in hand in order to honor the discount. Any co-payments are the responsibility of the parents, and must be received prior to the week registered for camp.

If after you qualify for DHS funding and still need further assistance, we encourage you to apply for fee assistance here at the Oswego YMCA. Annually, we receive support from hundreds of members, community leaders and businesses who believe in our purpose. They contribute generously to our "You Are Y" Campaign, investing in youth and families. These funds are distributed on a sliding needs scale to families with a documented financial need in our communities.

Subject to available YMCA resources and program space, no person will be denied participation because of an inability to pay. Drop by any YMCA of Metro Chicago branch for an application, or download the application.
