YMCA x Dreamville Chi-League, Powered by Wilson
Join the YMCA of Metro Chicago throughout August as we co-host four weekends’ worth of youth programming in conjunction with the 2022 Dreamville Chi-League, powered by Wilson. As part of Wilson's commitment to the basketball community, the organization is again partnering with Dreamville to host the annual four-week pro-am Chi-League tournament in Chicago. All tournament action will take place at the Credit Union 1 Arena on the UIC campus.
Chicago youth can get involved by participating in skills clinics, joining us for a sports-related career panel, visiting the YMCA booth at the Bud Billiken Parade, and more. All youth participants and their family member(s) will receive complimentary admission to the Chi-League tournament.

Youth Basketball Clinic at Credit Union 1 Arena
10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Location: Credit Union 1 Arena, 525 S. Racine Ave. Transportation is available (details below)
Ages: 8-13 years and their family members
Youth participants can help us close out Chi-League month with basketball training, skills development, and fitness and wellness coaching. At this clinic, parents are also welcome to participate in the fitness and wellness coaching session. Transportation is available for participants and their family member(s) to Credit Union 1 Arena from Kelly Hall YMCA, Rauner Family YMCA, or South Side YMCA. If planning to use transportation, please indicate your selection during registration.

Ball Business: Careers in Sports Panel at Credit Union 1 Arena

Ages: 13-18 years
You don’t have to be an athlete to work in sports and rec! Explore some of the many different kinds of sports-related careers as representatives from Wilson, Dreamville, the YMCA, and more discuss how they got their start.

Come see us at the 2022 Bud Billiken Parade and Family Festival!
10 a.m.-4 p.m.

- Finish + Festival: Washington Park (near the fieldhouse)
Ages: All
Watch the Bud Billiken Parade—the largest Black parade in the world!—and spot the YMCA staff walking the route. Then stop by our festival booth where you can learn more about the Y, the Chi-League, and health and wellbeing. Plus, we’ll have giveaway swag on-site!
