Inspirational Speaker Series
The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is pleased to announce our first events of the 2023 Inspirational Speaker Series!
Join us at the Sage Y on Saturday, May 20, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. or at the Foglia Y on Friday, May 19, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. for a morning of inspiration and education (and, of course, coffee and light refreshments!).
These Inspirational Speaker events will feature Noah Currier, founder of the Oscar Mike Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides funding for injured veterans to participate in life-changing adaptive sports. Currier will give us insight on the Oscar Mike Foundation’s mission — the role and importance of community, mobility, sports, accessibility, mental health, and well-being for veterans and for all — to inspire us to help everyone explore their value and share their discoveries with the world.
We’ll also hear about how the Y works to strengthen our community by connecting all people to their purpose, potential, and each other, as well as what you can do to make long-lasting positive change.
Gather and connect with people who are committed to the well-being of our community for $25 per person. Space is limited, so register now!
