Giving Tuesday 2023: Your Support Unlocks Discovery & Play

At the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, we believe that play — no matter what form it comes in — has the power to transform, to break barriers, and to foster connections. 

For the last 165 years, the Y has harnessed the Power of Play to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve, whether it’s through digital equity, health and wellbeing, learning and education, youth safety, or any of the Y’s other areas of focus. 

Join the Y in celebrating and supporting the Power of Play on GivingTuesday, a global movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity by encouraging people to donate to the causes they care about, held on November 28.  

This year, our we’re aiming to raise $75,000 on November 28 so that we can continue to strengthen communities throughout Chicagoland and across the Midwest by connecting all people to their purpose, potential, and each other. Help us reach $75,000 by making a tax-deductible gift to the Y’s Association-Wide Scholarship Fund or to a specific Y community hub, camp, or program. 

Your generous support helps members of our communities access YMCA programs and offerings, providing a safe, encouraging space that inspires growth and progress of all kinds — in Chicagoland and beyond.
