25th Annual “Crafts in the Woods” Craft Fair

Our annual craft fair helps to raise money for our camp scholarship program. Our scholarship program allows us to bring children to camp that would otherwise be unable to afford the life-changing experience that camp offers.

The William L. Rust Lodge and 21 of our cabins will be filled with over 50 crafters and vendors. Enjoy some of our fine homemade cookies and candies at our Bake Sale, try your luck in our craft raffle, and sit down and enjoy yourself with a warm cup of gourmet coffee and one of our gourmet desserts at Mrs. Clause’s Coffeehouse. Lunch is also being served in the main lodge.

So come on out and join us for our Crafts-in-the-Woods Craft Fair!  It is a great opportunity to enjoy camp while helping give children moments they will cherish forever!

Saturday, November 24th, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admissions: $4 for Ages 12 and up, $1 for Ages 6 to 11, 5 and under are free

Admissions includes parking and shuttle.

No dogs will be allowed at camp.

Details for the Day:

Guests will arrive at camp through our service entrance 31403 Durand Ave. Burlington WI, 53105. As they pull-in they will be greeted by a few of our wonderful admissions and parking volunteers. These volunteers will take admissions, give the car a map and cards for our Shopper Scramble, and guide you to a parking space. Guests may either park in our soccer field and take the shuttle to the Lodge (you may also walk) or drive up to the Lodge for our hand-cap parking.

Within our Lodge some of the crafters will be exhibiting their fine work, a hot lunch is available for sale from our camp kitchen, and a bake sale will be held in the at the far end of the Lodge, past the main fire place. Sign up for the raffle will be at the main fireplace, with items on display.

More crafters can be found in our warm and cozy cabins past our Lodge throughout camp. Please stop by Mrs. Clause Coffeehouse to enjoy gourmet coffee and desserts and sit comfortably fireside in its backroom. You will also find fires burning throughout camp to warm yourself.

Shopper Scramble!

A fun game for our guests to play. Guests will travel throughout camp to each cabin and find the letters needed to fill in a puzzle. Once you figure out the puzzle, submit your card. After the Craft Fair, we will select the winner at random who will then be given a gift basket of fantastic prizes.

Handicap accessibility

Handicap parking is available. All paths on camp are either pathed or wooden, with ramps for handicap accessibility. Only four of our 21 cabins have steps: Mohawk, Iodine, Cody Cabin each have a wooden step in front, while Kelsey's Place is up a hill with a flight of stone steps. Handicap accessible bathroom facilities are found in Mrs. Clause Coffeehouse (Nature Cabin), directly accessed through the cabins side door.
