The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming active and developing healthy habits they will continue throughout their lives. In a Y sports program, your child will meet friends, learn new skills, improve his or her fitness and most importantly have fun! Whether it's gaining the confidence that comes with learning a new sport, building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, or refining and improving skills, participating in sports at the Y is a bout building the whole athlete, inside and out. Tumbling Parent & Tot (ages 2-3)
This tumbling class is open to boys and girls. This is an introductory class to develop strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness while learning gross motor skills for tumbling. Your little one will also learn tumbling vocabulary and how to participate in a tumbling class setting to set them up for success in their tumbling classes to follow. Click here to register
Preschool Tumbling (ages 4-6)
This tumbling class is open to boys and girls. This is an introductory class for preschool-age children ready to develop coordination, body awareness and gross motor skills while working on listening skills, social skills and following directions providing them with a strong foundation to build on in their tumbling classes to follow. Curriculum is progressive with a different body position. Click here to register
Soccer Tots (ages 2-5)
First and foremost this program is about fun! Your child will be introduced to the game of soccer through creative, high energy, and age appropriate activities. The goal of the soccer tot class is not to turn your child into the next soccer star, but to help them develop strong physical, social, and emotional skills on and off the field!. In the 2-3 year olds class, a parent or guardian gets to join in the fun. For the 4-5 year olds parents get to cheer from the sidelines. Classes will be held on our turf soccer field! Parent & Tot Tumbling (ages 2-3)

Young Beginner Tumbling (ages 4-6)
Children will be introduced to most of the level 1 tumbling curriculum in a group of their peers. Some key skills that will be worked in this class include: rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges. Click here to register

Movement through our tumbling levels is based on an end of session evaluation. This ensures that your child builds their tumbling skills safely off of a solid foundation. Tumblers will work to master many skills in this level. Some key skills introduced and worked in level 1 include: backward roll, cartwheel, handstands and bridges. Click here to register
Level 2 Tumbling (ages 6-12)

Tennis Clinic (Class Levels)(ages 6-14)
Your child will love the YMCA’s tennis clinic this summer! This class will provide new tennis players with more instruction on the game. Beginner tennis participants will learn basic rules, etiquette, and tennis strokes. Intermediate tennis players will begin perfecting their serves, forehand and backhand strokes as well as learn more about game strategy.
Youth Basketball Level 1 (ages 3-5)
This class is designed to work on the basic fundamentals of basketball such as passing, dribbling and movement. These classes will focus on handeye coordination and introduce the ideas of sportsmanship and team play. Click here to register
Youth Basketball Level 2 & 3 (ages 6-12)
Players will focus on improving passing, dribbling and shooting skills. Sessions focus on teaching players new offensive moves by developing the footwork and ball skills necessary to be successful. Skill sessions are great for players in any of our leagues, or for any player who wants to improve his/her basketball skills. Click here to register
Volleyball Clinic (ages 6-14)
Experienced, professional coaches will focus on nothing but skills that include serving, passing, setting, hitting and the rules of the game in a fun and noncompetitive environment.
Marathon Kids (ages 6-14)
Marathon Kids is our premier running club for children that stretches way beyond improved fitness. Our Marathon kids learn how to set goals and track their progress as they run each week. Developing active, healthy lifestyles is what this class promotes through motivation, and self confidence. Throughout the season runners will complete a full Marathon. Click here to register
Youth Floor Hockey (ages 6-12)
From basic puck work and shooting to successful stickhandling and passing techniques, kids have a great time learning floor hockey fundamentals at the Y. In this comprehensive program, kids progress from the basics to more advanced techniques as they master each level in a safe environment.
Youth Beginner & Intermediate Handball (ages 10-15)
Our Youth Handball Program, established in 1980, is known throughout the handball world. Handball develops tremendous hand-eye coordination, great footwork, balance, and develops both hands equally. Beginning players will be challenged with fun drills to develop skills that are beneficial in every sport. We focus mainly on four-wall handball, but players will learn onewall, and three-wall as well. Advanced players can compete in local, national and world competitions. Develop your motor abilities and skills by utilizing movements and exercises that improve speed, agility, quickness, strength, endurance, relative strength, and flexibility. Learn the same principles and techniques used by athletes for that extra advantage in performance. Build the foundation and the groundwork for later years of development, in a safe and healthy environment. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and no experience is necessary. Challengers Youth Indoor Soccer League (U8-U14 teams)
Our Challenger Indoor Soccer League is open to both boys and girls youth soccer travel teams. We have divisions for U8 through U14 with separate boys and girls leagues. Boys teams play primarily on Friday nights and Saturdays. Girls teams play primarily Sundays. All games are held on our indoor turf soccer field here at the Lattof YMCA. This is our 14th season with our Challenger league and the enthusiasm up and around the field is awesome. League fees are $950 per team and includes 9-10 regular season games plus the playoff celebration event that includes every team. Come play on our turf! Contenders Youth Soccer Program (ages 6-12)
This league is open to youth players who are not currently participating on a club or travel soccer team. All league practices and games take place here on our indoor turf soccer field. The league will consist of instructional sessions and games each week. All games and practices will be scheduled for Sundays beginning November 3. Players sign up as individuals and will be grouped by age and gender. Click here to register
Youth Handball Team (ages 10-15)
The Lattof Y Youth Handball Team is geared towards individuals who are looking for more than just practice, but also competitions. Participants will compete at the Y and travel to competitions in the area. Click here to register
Adult Racquetball League (ages 18+)
Enjoy friendly play and competition with our co-ed racquetball league. Play while building endurance and enjoying cardio activity in a fun and social setting. The league appropriate for all ages and abilities. YEAR ROUND
Women’s Indoor Soccer League (ages 21+)
League is designed for intermediate to advanced level players. Bring your team or we can assist with finding the right team for you.
Adult Floor Hockey (Drop-in) (ages 18+)
Full court adult floor hockey is a fun way to stay active. Participants are required to bring their own gear, but we will provide the nets. Individuals may join free as a member or pay drop-in rate as a non-member.
Adult Pickleball (ages 18+)
Pickleball is a paddle sport that is a combination of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Two or four players use paddles to hit a ball similar to a wiffle ball over the net.
3x3 Basketball Tournament (ages18+)
Our 3 v 3 basketball tournament is our Y-scholarship Fundraiser. Get your basketball skills and friends ready for a good cause.
Women’s Basketball drop-in (ages 18+)
Women’s basketball drop in is for those interested in playing ball with other women who love the game. Come as an individual or bring a group of friends and pick up a few games. Drop-in punch cards are available for non-members.
