Overview

Remember the fun of summer when you were a kid? Exploring the outdoors, spending time with friends, playing games and splashing in the pool? At YMCA day camps, we create an exciting, safe environment for kids to have an unforgettable summer of fun. All while they’re taking part in unique experiences and adventures, they’re also building self-esteem, developing interpersonal skills and making lasting friendships and memories. Summer is just around the corner, so register today! Registration begins in January.

All camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with included extended hours from 7-9 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.

*Join us for action-packed days when school is not in session. Bring a swimsuit, lunch, and two snacks every day. Fee (per day): $45 Member/$55 Non-Members

  1. Complete one registration form for each child participating. You may bring it to the Lattof YMCA Member Service Desk, fax it to 847.296.9431, or email it to lattofdaycamp@ymcachicago.org.
  2. All campers must hold a valid membership to receive the member rate at time of registration.
  3. The registering parent is responsible for any and all payments
  4. There is a $25 fee due for all NSF checks and that payment must be made with cash or a money order. Payment must be made within 24 hours, after which time your child will be unable to attend camp. After two NSF checks, personal checks will no longer be accepted for camp payments.If payments are not made on time, a late fee of $25 will be applied Tuesdays at 9am.
  5. Camps fill quickly so we encourage registration by May 1st to reserve your spot.

Refund Policies:
•Weekly camp fee is due, in full, no later than Wednesday prior to the first day of registered camp week. A $15 late fee will be applied to your account starting on Thursday.  
•Camp Deposit is non-refundable but transferable within same membership unit, up to 14-days prior to the start of your registered camp week. 
•Within 14-day of the start of registered camp week, Camp Deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable.
•Refunds requested prior to 14-day of the start of registered camp week, total camp fee will be refunded less the deposit. 
•Refunds requested within 14-day of the start of registered camp week, total camp fee will be refunded less the deposit and 20% administrative fee.  
•No refunds will be given after 3 p.m. on the Friday prior to the start of registered camp week. All refund requests must be in writing and received prior to this deadline.

The refund/payment policies stated above are strictly enforced to allow completion of camp preparations ranging from staff hiring, camper groupings, supply purchasing, and informational mailings. Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Healthy Kids Day:

Kick off summer with Healthy Kids Day®! Are the kids in your life already dreaming of summer? When kids are inspired, they can do anything. Let's awaken their imagination so they can explore new activities and healthy habits. Join us for a morning of fun. 

Camp Orientation & Meet the staff
Friday, May 31, 2019 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Come meet the 2019 Camp Staff! Ask questions about camp weeks, field trips, tips for a successful summer and more. Get all of the information you need about camp, while the kids get a chance to know the counselors, play fun camp games and learn camp songs! Once all the questions are answered join us for a evening of fun and adventure.

Campers will be practicing for this all summer and won’t be able to wait to show their talents off to their friends, family, fellow campers, neighbors, etc! So invite the whole family and check out what kind of talent Lattof Day Camp has to offer!

Guest Speakers

We can't wait to welcome new and returning guest speakers who will engineer lego structures, perform magic, teach us about weird science and so much more! Included in the cost of camp, your camper will experience the thrill of meeting a new guest speaker and learning new things each week.
