At the Y, your infant, toddler, or preschooler will receive nurturing, attentive care from our highly-qualified caregivers. Their safety and healthy development are our utmost priorities. We encourage youth to explore in a supportive environment.

Trusting Relationships, Hands-On Care, and Fun

In our infant and toddler programs, we have implemented a process to ensure our youngest community members  form secure, trusting relationships with their caregivers and teachers. Upon enrollment, each youth is  assigned a primary caregiver or teacher who remains with the youth until they transition to the next developmental stage and primary class grouping. Our programs are designed to provide hands-on, nurturing relationships with well-trained professionals. Through these connections, the youth learn, move, and have fun!

The Y’s infant and toddler care programs are supported through a variety of funding sources, including:

  • Preschool for All and Prevention Initiative Grants
  • Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
  • Y scholarships, as they are available
  • Private Pay
  • As a first-time parent, I was skeptical about having my son in daycare, but the Y staff made it such an easy transition from being home with mom to being in a learning environment. Teachers and staff have created a safe environment where my son can learn and show his personality. I honestly could have not asked for a better daycare for my son.
