Family Fun

Spending time together as a family is one of the best things you can do for your children’s mental and spiritual health. And the Y is here to help. Just think of us as your “quality time provider” during our monthly Family Nights — full of fun, structured activities that are open to the public. Event day and time will vary based on activities offered. They are available for a low cost or free depending on the event.

New Cost Structure

Kids’ Night Out (ages 3-8)
Looking to have a special night out with your special someone or friends without the guilt? The Y offers Kids’ Night Out on the second Friday of each month to help you get the special time you need while your child has a great time playing and meeting new friends. Each month, a theme will be incorporated into the event and will feature arts/crafts, games, stories and more Drop off as early as 6 p.m. and pick up by 9:00 p.m. Preregistration is required as there is limited space available and children must be registered by the Wednesday prior to the program. All participants must have a current emergency form including parent contact information, emergency pick-ups and pertinent medical information on file before they will be permitted into the program.

This program is free to families with active family membership. Children ages 3- 8 years of age may participate and must be fully toilet trained to be a part of this program. Staff do not change diapers or pull-ups. Food will not be served.

Y Kids Zone Drop-In Child Care Hours (ages 6 weeks-8 years)
Drop-in child care is offered to anyone needing a safe, fun, and< engaging place for their child (ages 6 weeks to 8 years old) while they are utilizing the YMCA facilities. Maximum time allowed is two hours per day, but less than 10 hours weekly. Monday- Thursday: 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 4:15-7:30 p.m. Friday: 8 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Saturday-Sunday: 8 a.m.-Noon


Middle School Mania (ages 9-14)
Come join the fun at the Y! Pizza will be served for dinner. Every night will include a main event as well as the open climb on the rock wall and swimming in the pool.


Y-Fit Family Yoga (ages 3+)
Share the many benefits of yoga with the whole family in the Yoga/Pilates Studio upstairs! This is a Yoga Basics class with a fun, family format that focuses on promoting relaxation and improved flexibility that each member of the family is sure to enjoy.

Serving families has always been at the heart of the Y. We have a fundamental desire to provide opportunities for every family to build stronger bonds, achieve greater work/life balance, become more engaged with their communities, and have fun!
