Family Programs

Y Adventure Guides, Trailblazers, and Explorers
Calling all fathers and sons! Y Adventure Guides (grades K-5) & Trailblazers (grades 6-8) & Explorers (grade 9-12) are family programs designed to promote father/son bonding activities. In these programs parents lead, influence, and teach while presenting opportunities for children to explore the world around them. They lead by example as they set their children on a path through life. Programs run August-May.

Serving families has always been at the heart of the Y. We have a fundamental desire to provide opportunities for every family to build stronger bonds, achieve greater work/life balance, become more engaged with their communities, and have fun.

Aquatic Fun Nights
Exciting things are going to be happening in our Aquatics Department. Special themed family nights - how does Battleship Games, Inflatable Obstacle Course, and Splashbash sound - just to name a few? You and your family are going to want to “Jump on in” - the water is perfect for family fun!

Kids’ Night Out
Looking to have a special night out with your special someone or friends without the guilt? The Y offers Kids’ Night Out each month to help you get the special time you need while your child has a great time playing and meeting new friends.

Y Kids’ Zone
Drop-in child care is offered to anyone needing a safe, fun, and engaging place for their child (ages 6 weeks to 8 years old) while they are utilizing the YMCA facilities. Maximum time allowed is two hours per day, but less than 10 hours weekly. Y Kids’ Zone is FREE for Family memberships
