Ice Rink Information

The Elmhurst YMCA Ice Rink is an outdoor rink that opens in the beginning of  November 2018.  The rink season will run through March 11, 2019.  The ice rink has an excellent refrigeration system and programs will take place even on most warm days.  We have a professional staff that is dedicated to making great ice.  The Elmhurst YMCA is the birthplace of Illinois youth hockey.  The ice rink opened in 1961.  The Elmhurst YMCA ice rink has had a large house league for 53 years.  It was the first youth hockey league in Illinois.  Our house league is an instructional league geared toward the recreational hockey player.  Last season our hockey program had over 400 kids from 26 different communities.
