Elmhurst YMCA Skate for the Scholarship
Meet us at the rink for the Elmhurst YMCA’s Skate for the Scholarship!
The Elmhurst YMCA is hosting its end-of-season ice rink challenge during the week of February 13! Participants will complete 10-minute challenges during skating lessons or after hockey games while raising money for the Elmhurst YMCA Scholarship Fund.
Family and friends are encouraged to sponsor participants by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Elmhurst YMCA Scholarship Fund. All dollars raised will go directly to providing financial assistance for youth, adults, and families so that they can enjoy the benefits of YMCA memberships, such as youth swim lessons, Skate School, Youth Hockey League, Day Camp, and much more!
A variety of prizes will be awarded!
How to Get Involved
From February 13 to 19, push yourself to complete the 10-minute challenges during skating lessons or after hockey games.
Elmhurst Y Hockey players: How many laps can you skate in 10 minutes?
After School Adventures, Skating Class students and open skaters: Can you skate for 10 minutes without stopping?
Ask family and friends to sponsor you by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Elmhurst YMCA Scholarship Fund, and log it on your Elmhurst Y-provided Skate for the Scholarship sponsorship form.
Turn in your sponsorship form to your coach, instructor, teacher, or any Elmhurst Y front desk staff member by Monday, February 27, for a chance to win raffle prizes!
If you are able, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to Skate for the Scholarship. You can support a participant or simply support our cause! All funds raised will support the Elmhurst YMCA Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance for youth, adults, and families so that they can enjoy the benefits of YMCA membership.
