Family Programs

Serving families has always been at the heart of the Y. We have a fundamental desire to provide opportunities for every family to build stronger bonds, achieve greater work/life balance, become more engaged with their communities, and have fun!

Family Fun

Spending time together as a family is one of the best things you can do for your children’s mental and spiritual health. And the Y is here to help. Just think of us as your “quality time provider” during our monthly Family Nights — full of fun, structured activities that are 100% free and open to the public.

Kids’ Night Out (ages 3-8)

Of course, taking a short break from family responsibilities can be a boon to your own mental health as a parent. Instead of a babysitter, consider Kids’ Night Out at the Y, where your child(ren) can make new friends and learn fun new games, all under the supervision of our trained child care professionals.

We offer Kids’ Night Out on the first Friday of each month. Pizza, applesauce and water will be served for dinner. Drop off as early as 6 p.m. and pick up by 8:30 p.m. All participants must pre-register and have a current emergency form including parent contact information, emergency pick-ups and pertinent medical information on file before they will be permitted into the program. Children must be fully toilet trained to be a part of this program. Staff do not change diapers or pull-ups.

Family Time

During Family Time, families have access to the Family Adventure Center as long as a parent or guardian is present. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their own children during family time.
