The events and activities of the Y-Guides and Y-Princesses programs are planned to provide an opportunity for dads and their children to spend meaningful time together. Examples include camping, bike riding, ice skating, movie nights, indoor rock climbing, and many more.
Each month there is at least one Federation-wide event. The three largest events are our Fall, Winter and Spring campouts. Other federation-wide events change each year depending on response and availability.
Each circle gets together on a monthly basis for a circle meeting. In addition, circles may plan their own activities. Such activities are at the discretion of the circle leaders, and they are sponsored, planned and run by the individual circle leaders.
Similar to the Y-Guides and Y-Princesses programs, Trailblazer events are planned to provide an opportunity for dads and their children to spend meaningful time together. Although some of the events are similar, Trailblazers will take more of a lead role in events as well as have events specifically for them.
There are more adventurous events, such as canoe trips, submarine overnights, backpacking trips and more.
Trailblazers can attend monthly meetings with the circle that they came up with as a Guide or Princess with Chief approval. If a Trailblazer has a sibling in a circle, the Trailblazer can attend those meetings if they wish.
