Sage Y offers half-day preschool for children ages 3-5. Nurturing teachers provide activities where children learn, explore, build a positive self-image and develop social relationships with other children.

Kindergarten After-School Enrichment

Sage YMCA is excited to announce our new Kindergarten After School Enrichment Program. This program will extend your child's love of learning. The curriculum and activities will help your child continue to grow and develop their academic skills, cognitive skills and physical well being. Kindergarten After School Enrichment is offered Monday through Friday from 12:30-1:45pm. Extended activities, such as swim lessons and gym class, are offered Monday through Friday from 1:45-2:30 pm.

Tot/Youth

Sage YMCA is proud to offer many tot, preschool and youth enrichment programs for children ages 1-6. Parent/child programs are also available.

Schools Day Out

Sage YMCA offers child care on school holidays and institute days for children kindergarten through eighth grade. The children can be dropped off as early as 6:30am and picked up as late as 6pm. Sage Y follows District #15 (McHenry) and District 46 (Prairie Grove) school calendars.

Drop-in Child Care

‘Mazing Kids is available for children who are a part of a family membership. Chidlren will be supervised while parents workout or enjoy other activities within the building. ‘Mazing Kids hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-12:30 pm, Monday and Wednesday from 6-8:30 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-8:30 pm, and Saturdays from 8-11:00 am.
