Training and Leadership Development

At the YMCA of Metro Chicago we believe in developing cause-driven leaders. We do this by providing a work culture that fosters the learning and professional development of all staff. It is our goal as an organization to invest resources in creating a leadership pipeline full of leaders who are passionate and dedicated to our three areas of focus: healthy living, youth development and social responsibility.

The YMCA of Metro Chicago Training Catalog & Leadership Development Guide acts as the primary resource for upcoming training and learning opportunities.  In this Catalog you will find the 2012 training calendar, New Hire Orientation schedule, lunch & learn webinars and additional information on the leadership competency model, leadership levels and leadership certification. The Guide provides a framework for training timelines and requirements for both employees and supervisors. This guideline should be considered when developing the individual leadership development plan.
