Volunteer

At YMCA Camp MacLean, a volunteer's time and talent can go a long way to help a child.

Volunteers come from all walks of life but they share a common trait - wanting to help others.

Sometimes the most valuable gift that one can give is the gift of time. We welcome volunteers of all ages, and have many volunteer opportunities to match your passion, skills and schedule. Camp offers volunteers a chance to improve the lives of children and families either in their home town or at camp itself. Camp MacLean is blessed to have over 150+ volunteers annually. we could not operate camp without our volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunites at Camp MacLean include:

• Work weekends held in April & October annually: help maintain camp, build new facilities, improve exsisting facilities, landscape projects and much more.... 
• Fundraising
• Promote our camp in your local schools & community
• Camp Board of Directors and committee members
• Assist with our Winter Camp program (December 27 - 30, 2012)
• Assist with our annual "Crafts-in-the woods" fundraiser (November 24, 2012)
