Staff
The foundation of camp is our staff team. Our full-time professional staff have years of experience at Camp MacLean. In addition to the full-time camp leaders, we are very proud of our counselors and program staff. Whether you enroll your child in summer camp or bring a school group out for outdoor education you will find our staff to be great role models for youth and eager to serve and assist. Our priority is to provide campers and guest with caring, professional staff who are dedicated in making the camp experience the best it can be.
We select counselors and program staff who exhibit maturity, good judgment, camp skills, and are able to relate to children and teens. All Camp MacLean staff members undergo reference and background checks and receive extensive on-site training. Approximately 80 percent of our summer camp staff were MacLean campers themselves and continue to reinforce our strong tradition of excellence in camping.
