Our History

The Leaning Tower YMCA has been dedicated to serving the needs of Niles and its surrounding neighborhoods for 44 years. Through fitness classes, family nights, after-school programs and swim lessons, we are proud to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. The Leaning Tower YMCA also provides housing for 184 residents. As one of the largest not-for-profit organizations in the country, the YMCA is committed to providing opportunities to help people of all ages develop and grow in spirit, mind and body. Through the support of our contributors and volunteers, we ensure that no one is turned away due to inability to pay and that everyone is able to share in the YMCA experience.
