At Y summer camps, kids will experience new things, develop new skills, and have fun along the way.
We offer the following camps to meet your family's needs.
Camp Tot Time - Ages 2 1/2-3 years
Camp Hedgehog - Half day camp for ages 3 years - entering Kindergarten
Camp Kindergarten - Full day camp for children entering Kindergarten
Camp Bear Cub - Half day camp for ages 4- 6 years
Camp Bear Paw - Full day camp for children entering grades 1-4
Camp Kodiak - Full day camp for children entering grades 5-8
New! Y Be Fit Fitness Camp - Full day camp for children ages 7-14
Each camp requires a $25 deposit upon registration to secure your child's spot. Balance is due prior to the beginning of camp.

This camp is designed to introduce preschool children to the summer camp experience. Curriculum is based on our educational preschool program. Camp includes themed activities, outdoor time, nature education, in-house field trips, crafts, story and circle time, snack and more. Camp Hedgehog offers a longer camp day so your child will enjoy more of their favorite camp activities- including camp songs, crafts, team building games, and swimming twice a week in the Kroehler Y warm water, shallow training pool. Plus, your child will participate in fun and exciting in-house field trips. Your child will enjoy individualized attention in small camp groups where our staff to camper ratio is 1:6. Camp Kindergarten offers an ideal transition to longer school days and traditional day camps. Camp Kindergarten will spend the morning with Camp Hedgehog participating in camp songs, crafts, team building games and more. Each afternoon they will have group swim lessons followed by recreational swim time. They will end their day with enrichment classes such as science, math and Spanish. Dates and Themes.

Camp Bear Cub is ideal for those looking for a traditional, outdoor camp for their preschool and lower elementary age child. Committed to the "Leave No Child Inside" national initiative, your camper will explore the outdoors and learn about the environment. Campers will also particpate in camp songs, crafts, team building games and more. Your child will enjoy individualized attention in small camp groups where our staff to camper ratio is 1:6. LOCATION TIME For 29 years, the Y has provided campers days filled with outdoor adventures, swimming, team sports, group games, arts and crafts and weekly field trips. WEEKLY FEES & REGISTRATION AGES TIME The shady groves and open fields of Greene Valley Forest Preserve is the site of this summer's biggest fun with Camp Kodiak. Each week is activity-packed! Activities are designed to build your teen's independence and leadership skills. They will include cooperative cookout planning, archery, swimming, a weekly field trip and leadership opportunities with our preschool camp program, Camp Hedgehog. Most importantly, Camp Kodiak forges lasting friendships. Dates and Themes. WEEKLY FEES & REGISTRATION AGES TIME This all-day camp for 7-14 year old children will focus on becoming more physically active with team sports, small group activities, partner sports and individual workouts. Each week participants will go on active field trips such as swimming, rock climbing, hiking and more. The program will include projects that build confidence and help the children form good habits to make true lifestyle changes.
