Water Exercise Classes for all fitness levels

We have a wide variety for all fitness levels and needs! From free water fitness classes included with your membership to specialty classes like Fluid Running, there is something for everyone. "

Experience the benefits of water resistance to improve cardiovascular ability, strength, balance and flexibility.

Water fitness classes are for individuals of every age and ability level. They are held in both shallow and deep water. They can be a great addition to your cross training repertoire when training for other races and sports. Plus, these classes also offer a thriving community of encouraging, supportive Y friends who help make it easy to stick with your new exercise plan! All classes are led by our YMCA-certified water fitness instructors.

BASIC WATER FITNESS CLASSES

These various classes are free with your membership and $10 per class for non-members with a punch card. Even though these classes are free with your membership we still request at the Kroehler YMCA that you register for the classes to hold your spot. Members may drop in these classes at Fry. 

SPECIALTY WATER FITNESS CLASSES

These classes have an additional fee so you must register for the class prior to attending to secure your spot. 

Fluid Running

These classes are deep water running classes that provide all the benefits of running on land, and more, without any impact. It's a phenomenal full body workout! There is a fee for this class and registration is required! 

The benefits include:

You don't have to be a runner or athlete to participate! This class is for everyone comfortable in deep water. Flotation belts are provided. Heart rate monitors and a water bottle are recommended but not required
