Jason Culver graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Sports Recreation. Jason has been the Athletic Director for over 3 years. I am in charge of the full/half day sports camps. Your child can learn and play their favorite sports throughout the summer. My Y experience started when I was 5 years old playing in the T-Ball League, learning the four core values of the YMCA. One of my favorite things to do is play sports and teach the fundamentals of different sports. My favorite summer camp memory was when I attend Summer Camp at the Y, and the end of summer tent slip and slide day. We would help the staff take the camp tent down and then we would put soap/water on it.

Linda Gerardi graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in education. Degrees in Physical Education and Health. Linda just celebrated 20 years with the Y. She began as an assisant preschool teacher, worked for Member Services and the in the Sports Department. Linda is currently the Early Childhood Director, overseeing the Early Learning Center Preschool, Preschool Informal Classes, Little Voyager Camp, Kamp Kindergarten and Preschool Specialty Camps. Linda also works with the other camp directors, coordinating tranings for counselors and planning in our Healthy Kids Camp cirriculum.

Indian Boundary YMCA is Amy's 2nd YMCA career. She was the Babysitting Coordinator a the Oak Park YMCA overseeing the Babysitting Room and Birthday Parties. She started at the Indian Boundary YMCA over 11 years ago. Amy currently is the Preschool Coordinator, planning and teaching preschool informal classes and preschool and youth specialty camps. Amy also plans special events for families of preschoolers throughout the year. Amy loves working for the Y, because she loves getting know people and their stories.

Shannon Payton has spent her entire career working for the YMCA for 20 years. She graduated from Marian College in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin with a Sports Management Degree with a minor in Business and Athletic Coaching. Shannon is our Senior Program Director at the YMCA. She oversees Teens, Sports, Adventure, Health and Wellness, Aquatics and Volunteers. Shannon always enjoys Summer Camp, because she loves having the kids and teens at the Y during the summer. She loves working for the because of its constant activity and energy, friendships, and long lasting memories made.

Lori Riley has been with the YMCA for almost 20 years. She began at Indian Boundary as a School Age Site Director and Assistant Camp Director. Lori then took a job with the Elmhurst YMCA as the Child Care Director and Camp Director. Now back at Indian Boundary, Lori is a Senior Program Director responsible for Child Care, Adventure Guides, Youth and Family, and Summer Camp.

Meridith Thornton has been at the YMCA for 7 years. Meridith is responsible for School Age Site Director, Registrar, Assistant Camp Director, and Youth Super Fun Days Director. As a Assistant Camp Director, Meridith supervises and trains the staff, and is responsible for the implementation of Healthy Kids Camp Cirriculum.

Matt Zakowski graduated from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a degree in Geography. Matt has made the YMCA a career with over 20 years of experience. Which includes time spent in Houston Texas and St. Paul, Minnesota.
As a Program Director, Matt works for the Greater LaGrange YMCA in Youth Sports and Indian Boundary YMCA as the Adventure Director. The Y has been a vehicle to make a positive impact in the lives of people. In simple terms, it allows me to make the world a better place.
Favorite Hobbies: Golfing, Swimming, Cycling
Favorite School Subject: History. Preferably US History during the 19th century
Favorite Summer Memory: Working as a lifeguard at a public pool during my high school and college years
