30 days of Thankful, Day of Giving, Family Night, Kids Night Out, School Days Out "

November Events

30 days of Thankful- All month long members will have an opportunity to share why they are thankful for the Y and have a chance at a month free membership, our way of thanking you. We will have raffle tickets for purchase available at the front desk for members to enter up to 7 times to win. All proceeds from the raffle will go towards or scholarship programs so we can continue to give back to the community. Winner willbe drawn the day before Thanksgiving.

Family Sports Night- Come out and enjoy a night of sports. Our sports program director with facilitate a night filled with fun. We will play games, practice skills and keep the whole family active and engaged.

November 4th 6:30-8pm FREE

School Days Out November – Days when the kids are scheduled off of school but you still need to work. The Y offers a full day of care and FUN! From 7 am -6pm. Kids need to bring a brown bag lunch. Call the center with questions or to register 708-352-7600

November 8th , 21st, 22nd, and 23rd

Members $45/ Non-members $65

Senior BINGO- enjoy time with friends autum treats a some Bingo prozes.

November 8th 12-1:30pm (members only) 

CPR/First Aid /AED- Adult and infant Full Course CPR/First Aid/AED- Upon completion of this course and passing the in person skills test you will receive a American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED Certification

$55 member / $65 non-member

November 9th 7-9:30pm

Kids Night Out – This month we will be showing Zootopia. Kids can come enjoy a night with friends and watch a movie while mom and dad get an evening to themselves.

November 12th from 6-8:30 pm

Member $12/ Nonmember $17

Day of Giving- We are here on Thanksgiving. We offer a number of your favorite fitness class for a suggested donation of $10 or more. We also ask that you bring a non-perishable food item for our local food pantries. This has become one of our favorite days of the Year!

Classes offered are HITT, Body Pump, Cardio Kick-Boxing, Cycle and Zumba

Reindeer Run 5k/ Kids Dash December 3rd

Come for the Run, stay for the animals. Join us for this chip timed 5K race through scenic Brookfield Zoo which will be decorated for the Holiday Season. Cost of the race includes admission to the Brookfield Zoo, parking, race T-shirt and post-race goodies. Get some exercise and enjoy the Brookfield Zoo while supporting the Greater LaGrange YMCA -an active and important not-for-profit organization.

$35 registration for 5k / $15 for kids dash
