How do I sign up?

What is Pilates Reformers?

Most simply put it is an exercise machine that involves a gliding carriage and with the use of springs and pulleys allows you to get a full body workout in 50 min. It is especially beneficial for the core. Due to the fact that there are only 2 people per class and the resistance can be easily changed, the workout is suitable for any level of exerciser from beginner to advanced.

What kind of Reformers packages do you offer?

You can buy a package that lasts anywhere from 1 to 12 months. You do not have to pay for the entire Reformers package upfront. Monthly payments are available.

Classes are set for duet (two people); however, private (one person) classes times are also available.

What times are the classes?

We will do our best to find a class time that fits your schedule anytime between 5:00 a.m. and 8:30 pm.

How much does it cost?

Package prices vary from $23.00 to $45.00 per 50 min class.

Who are the instructors?

Most of our instructors also teach group ex classes here at the Fry Family Y. All of our instructors have been trained and certified on the reformer.

How long is each class/session?

Each class is 50 minutes long.

How often should I take Reformers classes?

Depending on what other exercise you do each week, you should take reformer between 1 to 3 times per week.

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes, you can set up a free trial by giving your contact information to a front desk staff member. The coordinator will get in touch with you to set up a free trial. Trials are approximately 10 minutes long. Be sure to check your junk mail for an email from gbelmont@ymcachicago.org
